Scope & Overview of Agreement

Welcome to Shopify Digitech (operating globally as Shopify Digitech, located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India). This Privacy Policy explains in transparent detail how we collect, handle, protect, and process data when you visit our website, hire our agency for Shopify store maintenance, theme customization, speed optimization, technical SEO, or utilize our specialized e-commerce engineering services.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality. We strictly adhere to applicable data protection regulations including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.

02

Information We Collect

Depending on how you engage with our agency and services, we may collect and process the following categories of information:

  • Direct Client Information: Name, business email address, WhatsApp/phone number, company name, billing details, and project briefs.
  • Store & Technical Identifiers: Shopify .myshopify.com URL, custom domain names, theme IDs, and specific liquid template error logs required for debugging.
  • Website Usage Data: Browser type, IP address, referral sources, pages visited, and interaction telemetry via privacy-focused analytics.
03

Shopify Collaborator Account & Store Access Guarantee

As a verified Shopify Partner Agency, we request access to merchant stores exclusively via official Shopify Collaborator Accounts with granular, least-privilege permission controls.

Our Zero-PII & Payment Data Guarantee

We NEVER request, access, export, or store your end-customers' credit card numbers, payment tokens, or sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We require access only to Theme Code (Liquid/CSS/JS), Apps, and Pages necessary to complete your contracted scope of work.

All developer machines accessing your store are secured with 2FA, encrypted SSD storage, and restricted to verified agency IP addresses. Collaborator permissions can be revoked by the merchant at any time directly through the Shopify admin.

04

How We Use Your Information

We process collected information strictly for legitimate commercial and technical purposes:

  • Delivering high-performance Shopify development, speed optimization, and custom Liquid section coding.
  • Executing rapid emergency triage and fulfilling contracted monthly SLA turnaround times.
  • Communicating status updates, invoices, security alerts, and monthly store analytics reports.
  • Preventing fraudulent transactions and ensuring network security across our client environments.
05

Third-Party Services & App Integrations

In the course of optimizing and developing your Shopify store, we may configure verified third-party Shopify apps and APIs (such as Klaviyo, Judge.me, Recharge, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel & CAPI, and Cloudflare CDN).

Each third-party service operates under its respective privacy terms. We ensure that all integrations implemented by our team comply with Shopify's API Terms of Service and secure webhook transmission standards.

06

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and lightweight caching headers to ensure optimal performance, remember your language preferences, and analyze site traffic.

You can manage or disable cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to browse our services or contact our development team.

07

Data Storage & Security Protocols

We implement defense-in-depth security measures to protect client code and communications:

  • 256-Bit SSL/TLS Encryption: All data in transit across our portal and website is encrypted via modern cryptographic ciphers.
  • Encrypted Code Repositories: Client theme assets and custom section code are managed in private, access-controlled Git environments with mandatory MFA.
  • Strict Staff NDAs: Every engineer and developer at Shopify Digitech is bound by comprehensive non-disclosure agreements.
08

Data Retention & Policy Revisions
